Conquering the UAE
Since February 19, First Deputy Head of the Tatarstan Agency for Investment Development Insaf Galiev, as part of the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan, has been participating in the Gulfood 2024 exhibition (United Arab Emirates, Dubai).
Gulfood is the largest and most influential food industry exhibition in the world. About 5.5 thousand companies and over 120 countries around the world take part in it.
From Russia, about 100 companies from more than 30 regions of the country are participating in the exhibition. It is tentatively planned to receive more than 130 thousand visitors.
This year, 17 companies and organizations of the agro-industrial complex are represented at the Republic’s stand, which are increasing export supplies of their products to the countries of the Islamic world. In addition, as part of the pavilion, the 15th Kazanforum was presented, as well as two exhibitions Russia Halal Expo and Russia Halal Market, which will be held in Kazan in May this year.
Among other things, these days there are a large number of meetings and negotiations with representatives of government agencies of Islamic countries and representatives of business in Islamic countries: on information cooperation, export operations, organization and participation in exhibitions of agricultural producers of Islamic countries.
At the moment, Tatarstan manufacturing companies have signed a number of agreements with foreign partners on organizing supplies and developing bilateral relations.
“This exhibition is a real step towards strengthening and expanding cooperation with Islamic states. It is an important stage in preparation for Kazanforum, for example, attracting participants,” Insaf Galiev.
We remind you that the Republic of Tatarstan has been participating in the exhibition with its exhibition pavilion for the third year in a row and is the only region of Russia represented personally.
