25 October 2021, Monday

More than 220 representatives of companies in the e-commerce market, transport and logistics services in Russia, Switzerland, Denmark, the USA, Turkey, China, Kazakhstan, as well as enterprises engaged in foreign trade from 8 regions of Russia took part in the All-Russian Conference on E-Commerce and Integrated Services, which takes place at KazanExpo. Head of the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan Taliya Minullina took part in the plenary session of the opening of the conference.

The republic is consistently implementing a policy of attracting leading players in the e-commerce market. Distribution centers Wildberry and Ozone have been built on the territory of the Zelenodolsk industrial park. In addition, the Tatarstan marketplace “Kazan Express”, which is already one of the five largest marketplaces in the country, is starting to develop rapidly in the Zelenodolsk region. These words were made by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at the plenary session of the conference. He also mentioned the complex solutions of the Sviyazhsk multimodal logistics center.

Another important area for the republic is cross-border Internet trade. Last year, Tatarstan became one of the regions where an experiment was initiated to organize bonded zones by creating a separate free economic zone.

The invited experts in the field of eCom also spoke about the successful experience of interaction with the region in terms of developing the direction of e-commerce and logistics. In particular, Tatiana Bakalchuk, General Director of Wildberries, noted the importance and long-term cooperation in this area: “There is a new trend in e-commerce - regional logistics. Tatarstan was the first to notice this trend, and thanks to this, we are already gathering here in the next year (note: at the site of the All-Russian conference eCom) in order to find out what awaits us in this area in the near future. "

This year, Tatarstan demonstrates the growth rates of the e-commerce market, which are ahead of the average indicators in the Volga Federal District and in Russia as a whole. For 9 months, the number of Tatarstan sellers on marketplaces has increased 5 times.
