Deputies choose Tatarstan Investment Development Agency as a platform for discussion of federal questions

Today, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency hosted a meeting for the members of the Federation Council and deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation from the Republic of Tatarstan and heads of the executive bodies of the government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Mukhametshin.

Tatarstan Investment Development Agency was chosen as a venue for the meeting not by chance. As Farid Mukhametshin noted, the Agency has gained a lot of experience in attracting investments and creating a favorable investment climate for the republic, and has already proved its effectiveness.

Before the beginning of the meeting, the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Talia Minulina demonstrated to the federal and republican deputies the Unified presentation center, told about the opportunities for investors and about the system work on interaction with them. Guests noted the availability and quality of innovative presentations of the Agency.

"Tatarstan has become the leader on investment attractiveness among the regions for the third time," Talia Minullina said in her greeting to the participants of the meeting. - In addition, Tatarstan's leading position in the formation of business hospitality have been confirmed by the professional community in the TV program "Agent of Business" of the channel "Russia 24".

Anticipating the discussion of the main agenda of the meeting devoted to raising federal budget funds in the republic's economy and Tatarstan's participation in federal targeted programs, Farid Mukhametshin acquainted the audience with the main indicators of the republic's socio-economic development. He particularly noted the 3% growth of industrial production in the last five months. The volume of construction remained almost at the same level (99,7%, 927,60 thousand square meters of housing introduced). Growth is observed in agricultural production in around 101,5%. Social "presidential" programs are being fully implemented.

Meetings of the head of the republic's parliament with the Tatarstan deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the heads of the executive bodies of Tatarstan are a traditional form of joint work of parliamentarians. This format of communication was proposed by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in 2012. In accordance with the functions of the relevant committees of the State Duma, 16 working groups have been formed, each one headed by the supervising deputy. The working groups also include representatives of the republican ministries and departments. General guidance and coordination of activities of working groups is carried out by the Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin.

“The results of our work with you are directly related to the development of the region, improving the quality of life of the population. Therefore, in the conditions of further optimizing budget expenditures, I urge you not to reduce the rate you have accumulated in fixed areas. Our task is to remain among the leaders”, Farid Mukhametshin addressed his colleagues.
