New investment projects were approved at the Presidium Session of the Investment Council of the Republic of Tatarstan on June 8

The session was held by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina took part in the meeting.

Almetyevsk, Nizhnekamsky, Zelenodolsky municipal districts participated through videoconference.

The first presented project was on establishment of the plant producing foam glass thermal insulation. The project was presented by the Director General of LLC "ICM Glass" (Kaluga region) Maxim Nikulin. Such material as foam glass is non-combustible, nonabsorbant, ecologically clean. The raw material is recycled glass (consumption is 20 thousand tones per year). The production is expected to be located on the territory of the M-7 industrial park, on a plot of 2 hectares. Expected output is 150 thousand cubic meters per year.

The next was reconstruction and construction project for a deep grain processing plant. The director of LLC "Gran Group" Leysan Khayrutdinova explained that the project is expected to be located in Almetyevsk district (Novotroitskoye village), where  "Tatspirtprom" plant was located previously, closed in 2011.  On the new production, it is proposed to recycle up to 24 thousand tons of agricultural products a year, high-maltose syrup, compound feed, rye malt, starch and others will be produced. High profitability and payback of the project are expected. Local raw materials will be used.

After that the presentation of the project of construction of a plant (chemical enterprise) producing paints and varnishes was held. The enterprise may be located on the territory of SEZ "Alabuga".  The application area of the product is mechanical engineering, steel structures, insulating coating of materials. Payback time of investment in project is 5 years. The Director General of LLC "Doneckhim - chemical plant" Oleg Kopeyko told about the project.

It was also suggested that the presentation of the production of LLC "Doneckhim - chemical plant" will be held at the next meeting of “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”.

The next project is the creation of joint Russian-Turkish enterprise for large component assembly with subsequent localization of feed mixers for livestock, which will be located on the territory of Kama Industrial Park "Master". The project may apply for the status of resident of the Territory of Advanced Social-Economic Development Naberezhnye Chelny.

Projects on improvement of the Locomotive peninsula  and the stadium Kazan-Arena areas, as well as the project of  Nizhnekamsk industrial park construction were presented.

All the projects were approved by the members of the Presidium of the Investment Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.

"Presented projects are at the high level of elaboration and were approved by the President. The Agency is working in different directions, as it can be seen in the Council's agenda.

Thus, we have also examined the construction of a news industrial park and the projects in the sphere of building materials production, agricultural and agro-industrial projects. Since the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia is coming and it is necessary to continue working on accomplishment of central embankments of the city, which is implemented by the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan jointly with the Kazan municipality since 2012, we offered to place the pool and sports facilities at the embankment near the new stadium. The project was also approved by the Major of Kazan and the Chief Architect of the city" - the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina commented.
