Industrial "whales" of Tatarstan discussed the key questions of development

On October 11, the fifth anniversary meeting of the Investors Club of the Republic of Tatarstan took place in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

The participants of the meeting were the heads of special economic zones and industrial parks of the republic, representatives of more than 30 large companies, who invested in Tatarstan and placed their manufacturing facilities on the territory of our republic. Such companies as "Haier" - the leading producer of household appliances, wth products represented in 100 countries around the world - are among them. New "Haier" plant in Naberezhnye Chelny is the first joint Russian-Chinese project with connection to primary industry. The plant is located on the territory of Kama Industrial Park "Master" in Naberezhnye Chelny. “Kastamonu” is Europe's largest woodworking enterprise, products of the company from "Alabuga" are sold not only in Russia (70%) but also in European and Asian countries. “Sisecam” is a company producing full spectrum of glass products including automotive glass and glass for other types of vehicles. The enterprise was officially opened on October 8 with participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Minister of Economy of Turkey Nihat Zeybekci.

The key questions of improving the company's efficiency, profit maximization, increase in productivity and quality of the production have been the focus of participants attention, who have implemented their projects on the territory of the republic. Top managers gave information on their achievements for the previous year and shared expectations for the following year.

Also on that evening a business seminar for the members of the Investors Club of the Republic of Tatarstan was held. Brian Tracy, an expert in development of human capabilities, specialist in the field of financial education, a successful businessman and tutor, visited the Republic of Tatarstan by the invitation of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.
