"2018 is declared a cross year in Russia and Japan. This includes the development of scientific, technical, social, economic, cultural, educational and touristic ties. In his address to the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, the President Rustam Minnikhanov noted the development of international ties on a regional level to be the priority. In this regard, in the frames of the visit to Japan, we have visited three prefectures: Kyoto, Ishikawa and Hyōgo. Now we are strengthening the cooperation with the Land of the Rising Sun. For example, Yokogawa company is locating production of pressure sensors in Tatarstan. Mainly, they will be used in potentially explosive enterprises related to processing and production of hydrocarbon. This product is already being produced in Japan and China, but in Russia full production will be deployed for the first time. It will be in-house high-tech production with the area of 400 square meters on the territory of the Innovation and production technopark "Idea". The process of implementation is multi-step. Within the first stage, Yokogawa will invest 100 million rubles in the production. Full launch is planned to be implemented till the end of 2019", - the Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency stated.

Taliya Minullina also noted that "live" question-answering system launched at the Tatarstan-Japanese Business Forum.

"Japanese entrepreneurs were interested in protection of interests and rights of investors, that we can provide on the regional level, as well as the instruments for investors support. We thank the Government of Japan for hosting important for both sides events. We look forward to the organization of Japanese business-mission in 2019", - Taliya Minullina summarized.
